Dr. Glaser is a board certified, fellowship trained pediatric ophthalmologist. Dr. Glaser completed his fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Northwestern University/ Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his residency in ophthalmology as well as his internship at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Glaser’s medical degree was conferred at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated with honors from The University of Michigan.

In 1997, Dr. Glaser opened his private practice devoted to medical and surgical eye care for children and infants. He has special interests in eye muscle misalignment (strabismus), amblyopia (lazy eye), children with low vision and tear duct problems. Dr. Glaser was issued a patent for a vision screening device. He specializes in children with systemic disorders that may affect the eye. Dr. Glaser is an expert on retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), and is the course director for the premier ROP conference attracting doctors worldwide (www.ROPupdate.com).

He is a member of The American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS), a Fellow of The American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), a Fellow of The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons (ACS).

Dr. Glaser served in an elected role on the executive committee for the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Section on Ophthalmology. He is an active member of the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group and was the top recruiter nationally for one of the NIH funded Amblyopia Treatment Studies. He is the author of numerous medical publications and presentations and he is consistently voted one of Washington’s Top Doctors in Washingtonian Magazine.
